Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, to shine for Him each day; in every way try to please Him, at work at school at play. A sunbeam a sunbeam, Jesus wants me for a sunbeam; a sunbeam a sunbeam, I'll be a sunbeam for Him. I was happily working at gwc today! How lovely it is to be resting there. Don't get me wrong, I really wasn't slacking. I had the time to wipe panes, mop floors & even wash the shelves of the fridges. It really is gross. Seems like no one takes ownership of the cleanliness of the place. How sad :( On the other hand, I also got to know Mingwei better! He took over my shift at 4pm but I ended up staying till 6.45pm becos I was really enjoying my talk with him! :) Cambridge lawyer to be, OCS & ORD-ed. But a really lazy worker :P HAHA!!!! The only reason he joined Island was to work at gwc (5 minutes from his place pls) Cell group/DT was interesting. Met 3/6 of ecclesia & we talked about counselling. Touchy topic but Pastor Ben certainly gave me more insights to ponder on. After Jem left, Chari, Ps Ben & I ended up chatting about relationships & school issues. So cell-group like. I really would love having these sort of talks more often. (Y) Ecclesia's like family to me. Or at least some of them are... still working on the rest. I realise I am slowly changing. I have grown much over the past month & I will not look at my past anymore. Don't get me wrong. I am not saying that I will forget my past, but my past will certainly not affect my future. Mingwei kept urging me to sign on with the army -.- but I am not so sure myself. What other opportunities/ paths I can take? God, take control. - Kai gwc = great world city :) my wishlist currently only has two things - Blackberry & iTouch. Okay maybe three. But it's okay. I am working towards these two. 11:54:00 PM

I am trying out new things. Work today was greaaaaat! & what's better is that I am paid weekend's rate! I am so pleased with the turnout. The company was great & the customers were manageable. At least it was 1/3 of the madness we had yesterday. My right wrist & tricep is hurting really badly. I think I strained it while scooping PPM. Will be working at gwc tomorrow. I do pray that there will not be many customers! :P I tried out a strawberry sorbet milkshake & the waffle with icecream. Realized what makes the waffle a hotseller, it's not so much the waffle itself, but the icecream that goes with it. Next time I work at Serene, I wanna get waffles again! :) - Need to work on more patience. Have been getting easily irritable of late. Hormonal imbalance? a teachable heart; Driving lesson #3 with daddy: My photocard license is ready for collection. I have successfully exchanged my ukulele. Anyway my uke's name is Imani, that will remain the same. I worked at Island today. It was madness. I really do pray that tmr's shift will not be as shiong. But I will not complain as I'll be paid weekend rates for the next two days! Yippee! Having lessons reminds me of two days ago when I was at Justin's house. Han Rong was giving me a crash course/refresher on how to play mahjong. He told Justin that Khronosphere could set up a course called Mahjong 101. It sure did tickle my senses. What else have I been missing? Walking, stumbling on these shadowfeet Toward home, a land that I've never seen I am changing; less and less asleep Made of different stuff than when I began And I have sensed it all along Fast approaching is the day When the world has fallen out from under me I'll be found in You, still standing When the sky rolls up and mountains fall on their knees When time and space are through I'll be found in You There's distraction buzzing in my head Saying in the shadows it's easier to stay But I've heard rumours of true reality Whispers of a well-lit way You make all things new When the world has fallen out from under me I'll be found in You, still standing Every fear and accusation under my feet When time and space are through I'll be found in You - Blows the dust off. A time of reflection & retrospect. But I just want to proclaim that God has been very good to me. Been away from camp, though I miss the kids, I don't want to be subjected too all the nonsense that comes from being with the organization. More importantly, I don't like being associated with those people. Call me running away, but I know I am much better off with the people around me currently. I'm going to get busy really soon. No more playing tricks on people, like how I did yesterday when I pranked my friends on facebook who heavily relied on fb birthday alerts to remember their friend's birthday. A handful of my friends wrote on my wall clarifying it wasn't my birthday, but there was still an influx of friends & acquaintances wishing me still. I was pretty tickled by it, but it was really no offence to those who wished me. Working more regularly at Island tmr till the end of the weekend. Also, I am working with a poly classmate on a project. Going to discuss further with her later tonight on what to do. I am so encouraged & inspired by a really dear friend. Han Rong & his best friend Justin set up their own LLP - Khronosphere. He is so capable & driven. I like! :) Ministry wise, I am picking up slowly. Worship leading this Sunday. Still a little more obstacles to overcome but I am just waiting on Him. He has already put two songs in my heart & I strongly believe He will show me more. I am so touched by His undying love for me. How unlovable I have been, how sinful I've been; & His love for me (and you) never failed. & it never will fail. I am just really at peace with myself & this makes me really happy. Perhaps this really is the feeling of being in love :P Anyway just a shoutout to my dear friends who are still hanging around this ranting ground.

blair.waldolf//chuck.bass So my favourite couple split up. Haha, it's really just a teevee show! :P Been working the entire week, including the weekends. Am getting really numb travelling to great world. Not to mention I'm heading back there tomorrow too. Waiting for my pay to come in! *excited grin* Don't really feel like blogging so much becos I don't need you readers to know what I've been doing on a daily basis heehee. On the other hand, I must say that I learnt so much about humility, obedience & holiness. There's no end to it & I am striving towards that with my heavenly Father. Really awesome stuff. Heh. Anyway what I really really wish for my birthday is a blackberry bold 9700! I am working towards it monetarily but should you guys not know what to get me, you know you can contribute to this BB-fund which would make me so sooo thrilled! :) I really don't wish for my data plan to go wasted, I've wasted a few month's worth already. Sick, influenza & sore throat for the past few days. I'm glad at least today I can sing some. Nose is still blocked please pray. Really excited for what's in the weeks to come! :) Marcus ahh and school has started we haven't gone!! :( haha when are you going to plan mister koh!
