Okay, I am having foot spa now (not the fish spa!) and I might as well use this time to catch up with my blogging. (Cos it'd be rather pointless to do work in 30minutes?)
It's the cny season and everyone's complaining about the recession and not having as much ang pao money as before. Well, I haven't collected all my ang paos yet but I am really not bothered by the amount at all.
But still, I thank God for whatever I've got. Stuff that happened lately-

Campfire's burned out already!
Here's what happens when you have a trio of crazy instructors after campfire during supper!
Okay, today's one of the most stressful days I've ever had, it's weird cos I had one of the best nights the night before. I had to cancel work as I was not feeling too good about stuff. But ultimately, I thank God for granting me His peace and anointing to be a vessel for him during p&w at pnp just now.
I was really encouraged by Gina and Aunty Pauline (Rev Mich's wife), also, Brandon's a great worship leader to work with. Prayed with Jem and Brandon! God's been faithful, amidst all the mess in my life, He is still in control! I am thankful!
BFF's birthday was on tuesday, alongside with Amy's, Gab's, Gina's and two of my ex-classmates Karen Tan (CCPS) and Sagarika (MPSS) Blessed birthday to you all!! :) Especially to sweetheart and Gabriel!!

I couldn't join sweetheart for icecream celebration on the day itself, but I was able to makan place with her and Zephyr, Jovan and Evynn (Sheila's churchmates)
I am really blessed, I've got 2 pairs of closest girlfriends (outside church that is), Vanny Clarene, and Sheila Zephyr! I am really glad becos I reaaaaally enjoy their company a lot even though we aren't doing anything interesting. I am thankful that Sheila and Zep can get along so well, and what's even more amazing is that they are both ENGs! :P And we have to Gelare with CLARENE soon, right Vanessa?! :D
Spent the time after school on Weds in the library room I booked (Socrates) Yes, if you do see my videos on fb, you'd find one that Zephyr and I was dancing and the librarian came and chased us out. Headed to mos with bff after that.
Crashed campfire over at JBAC after school on Thurs, really miss JBAC alot, surprisingly, there were a lot of instructors who crashed as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the company of Zep, Jieyi, Leisha, Nick, just to name a few of the closer ones.
Imelda shall go out tmr, she'll meet Isaiah and Iesha, I shd go dress her up first! hehe! :P
Sheila Hehehe, I'm glad we're able to make you smile sweetheart! Ernest, Alissa & Kai HAHHAHA I will not entertain you all if you use my tagboard as your discussion board for fatness! :P hehehe, and ERNEST I DONT BELIEVE YOU GAINED 10KG! and Alissa, 0.2kg is not alot k!! I gained 5kg please! Raymond You can, it's competitive but have faith, if it's your calling to be in BS, you will be cos God will pave a way for His will to be done! :) Pris Yes dear, like finally we can sit down and talk and chill out instead of cramming conversation during our random bump-into-each-other meetings! :D

Okay, Hanrong just gave me a piece of good news! Ngee Ann - Business Studies (RANKED 1ST CHOICE IN SINGAPORE!!!)
And here are the top 3 choices in Singapore: 1) Business Studies 2) Accountancy 3) International Business And all three are from NP! :)
Okay, I don't really know what else to say for today's post. Lunched with Zephyr and Hanrong (and his friends), and Sheila was nearby too. Z and I spent most of our time fleeting over to Sheila's table to yakk with her! :D I am really glad my two loved friends can get along so well! Must be the surname la!
We decided to be crazy a lil, which explains the video at the top, poor Nick was pulled in as well cos we were webcamming with him. Snatched Zep's racquet away so she couldn't go for training when I left school for work. But she still got it back! :(
Met Rendall, Treviz and Jeremy at Clarke Quay, waited for Nicole and her friend Samantha to arrive before heading off to draw money (Jer left us, grr! He didn't join us for dinner!) and Fisherman's Wharves! :) Stayed there and talked quite a bit and I left for home while they went to club!
YJ haha but shd I make it big, or the same size as the usual ones? :( I can't decide! Bings Thank you bings! you're really encouraging! you must jiayou too! :) Zephyr aww you're so sweet, sweetheart! :P hahaha okay, I loved the making of the vid, we shd do MORE. Any tips for relieving stress?!
What happens when you find that something xtra! :P
I am feeling soo stressed up right now. School load's taking a toll on me, and I am sorry if I haven't replied any of your smses! I am prolly busy in class or doing work.
I just made a list of outstanding stuff that I have due within these two weeks, and no, it's no joke, I really have to buck up! I also pray, that my project mates will be understanding and we'll be able to conduct discussions smoothly.
Learnt a few stuff in IS today. I don't feel like sharing them today, perhaps when I am less stressed, I'd drop some pointers I've learnt, some are reaaally interesting!
Okay, I had my table topics mock assessment for bcomm ytd, it went pretty well (according to my classmate) but I felt I could have done much better la! For once, I alrdy killed myself at the beginning, and I am still in awe how I managed to use up my entire 3 minutes! The real assessment's next week and I need more practice please.
Ahh, now the song "upside down" keeps ringing in my head...
Met YJ for dinner at Astons last night, good time catching up with you YJ! I need to get new clothes for Imelda. I've got meetups to attend and work too, and tons of projects to complete. 2 parties to attend this weekend, so many birthdays coming up! No presents bought yet, haven't gotten my allowance for 2 weeks already. I. Am. Broke.
On the other hand, I thank God for BFF and Zephyr, who are able to pull me aside from my craziness, to reassure me that I am loved, and to chill out with me. I thank God for V&C as well. I realise how out of touch I am with them la! I haven't met up with them the past holiday! :( Clarene looked gorgeous in her phone dp la!! Love how she's blossomed!
Okay, I better get moving, please pray! Jedi hello!! :) YJ haha but is it pretty?! :P anyway, I really need strength to carry on, but I do know He will grant me strength! :D Alissa no you dont look fat at all! you're losing so much weight and I'm gaining so much la!! :(

It's only Monday?!

I can barely believe it's only Monday, I miss my youth fellowship, I'm feeling lousy about myself and sad about certain stuff and I just wanna cry.
But I do know that God will not let me bear sth I can't (1 Cor 10:13), but hey Carissa, wake up, FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD!!! (James 2:26) I am utterly disgusted at myself for letting my self pity wallop me again.
I can't understand why I can't be happy like how I used to, how people are right now. My girlfriends are also struggling with the toughest times of their lives as of now. Where are you, God? God tells me that He's always and will always be by my side.
Ahh help, I don't want all these in life. How I wish I could __________. I need to get away from mummy so she won't see my tears and facial expression. I feel so sad suddenly.
One day I'll look back and see how silly I've been, letting my emotions write this post. My churchmates are really encouraging, especially YJ and Charissa. Okay, snap out of it already.
- I'm really happy for my loved ones who got their Os results back today. They all did really well! :D I am looking forward to more people coming to NP please!!
I just washed my face and when I sat down again, I literally saw stars, haha I'm certain! I'm really tired out and stuff, and I know no earthly being can help me. Knock knock, God, when I cry out, You please have mercy and help me okay?
- Leading with Brandon during pnp next Friday. I'm gona be leading the fast songs. I'm pretty nervous about it, especially since I'll be leading a different group of people. But hey, I need to break out of my comfort zone to grow, correct?
I'm still pretty sore I missed youth service yesterday.
I skipped school today, hoho, what a lousy start for the week. But on the other hand, I am almost done with my SOM project. Need to get moving for FIT and my other projects as well. Esme is working well, but I daren't get my files from my external hard disk for fear of corrupting my hard disk again. Really need to dig out time to seek professional help!
I'm kinda in awe you know, Hanrong just gave me a verse! He doesn't go to church btw, and he gave me the verse from Jeremiah 29. Reminding me that God's plans are good and as I read further, it's a reminder to seek Him with ALL my heart, again.
Ahaha, God works in mysterious ways. I get really encouraged when I see the work of God in my friends' lives, especially when I meet new friends and they turn out to be God-fearing people (Hadley) and my churchies who are now attending serve!
Right now I am tickled pink by Zephyr and her conversation with _______ with relation to my current PM and I am convulsing in laughter. Gosh, anybody would think that I'm one very crazy girl, getting so choked up one moment and then a whole turn around.
Well, I thank God for friends, again!
Need to wake up early tmr, wanna get work done so I can study for my tests. Prayers will (once again) be greatly appreciated! :D

Sometimes I wish I wasn't in this fast-paced world.
When we start, we don't stop; Larry, Zephyr, Carissa and Jieyi :)
I am so tired. So exhausted, have been running all over the place today. Feeling the stress and load of school, projects, tests, and other stuff, which includes fretting over my silly laptop :S
But ultimately, I believe God wants me to take a step back and let Him control my life completely, you know sometimes you really want to let go but it's so difficult cos you're scared and you don't have trust. I really wish I could go back to those carefree days of primary/kindergarten school time when I got to interact with kids and play most of my life away.
I still thank God for all the things He's done for me, of course sometimes most of the times I get complacent and forget. I know He forgivesbut I still don't wanna keep falling that way. Brothers and sisters, please pray for me, I really need strength and understanding. Dry patch, y'know.
Meanwhile, today's an interesting day, but it's really tiring. I exhausted so much money on MRT fare (MRT's not cheap you know, I only have bus concession!) Running from place to place including dropping off some cookies from my friend to mummy over at SC Convention Centre (she was so surprised to see me in front of her!) before heading off to SCH (not NP hor!) Quick deposited my paycheck and drew more $$ out, I realise how horridly depleted my poor savings account is (it is literally POOR!) Was wondering why it was so little and then I rmbed I paid for my siblings' concession and top up card. Note to self: need to get passbook and update and claim from dad/mum!
Met Jer, Jestyn, Trevis, Kelvin, and my dearest Jieyi for a while before heading off to meet Zephyr, who was conveniently with another pair of campha people! So Pram, Nick Lim, Zephyr and I went for Vanessa and Stephanie's (Nick's and Zep's classmate) NP band concert at Singapore conference hall (SCH) We got flowers for the ladies! :)
Right now, I'm supposed to be downloading my notes and getting my projects done, but I guess I really need this breather to let out some stuff that's been going thru this big head of mine.
My eyes hurt so badly as if they're screaming for me to get some rest but I've got tons of work to do, is this a transformation? A wake up call? Need to start putting my life back on track. How I wish I could meet Jesus, and then I'll devote myself to following Him completely without my worries about (hoho) education.
I think I sound weird in today's blogpost :S But I assure you, I am fine okay, just pray, and pray for my infection as well! Thank youuuuuuu!!

Anyway it's Nelson and Gina's holy matrimony today. Congrats to the newlyweds! Our church compound was transformed into something like a castle's garden! I totally love it!

- Okay just some short updates about myself, I've been meeting Sheila quite often earlier this week. Really thank God for the company of my best friend's! I bumped into Priscilla at Chari/Ernest/Glow's serve auguration dinner on Monday. I've got my new slim havaianas nude! :D Been shopping with best friend. We do crazy stuff together. I love meeting up with Zephyr too! It's so much fun with the ENGs!!
NP open house and I met up with Ernest! Special thanks to Koh Hanrong for taking care of my transport on Friday. And I bumped into Neng thrice that day! :S I was crossing the main road on the slope with Ernest, and we waited for a buggy to pass by first, (bear in mind the traffic was really heavy!) and after the buggy passed by a voice yelled out: Carissa! Don't jay walk la!! And I instantaneously yelled: NENG HAO!!! (and then Ernest immediately siam-ed me)
Really cannot wait for my dear Ernest to get into NP, results are gona be released on Monday, for those awaiting results, don't fret okay! :D Anyway, NP has a new air-con canteen (it's really huge), our dear canteen 1's gona be demolished in Feb I think (must ask Neng) And the new canteen's run by Koufu but it's called Makan Place, they have our canteen 1's jap food and yong tau fu! :D AND THEY HAVE SUBWAY AND WAFFLETOWN TOO!!!! But I really don't wanna smell like food court!
I tried the indonesian food that time, $3.30 and it's really good!! :D Sheila and I went on a food spree on Wednesday (think chendol and waffles from WT) Anybody interested in crashing lects or eating at NP, contact me okay!!
Anyway I did a day event at Bottletree Yishun last friday, was not bad, really miss doing camps! I did a nice icebreaker with my group, I think I can try using it for my younger campers too! Timothy pulled me up to abseil la, I like the tower at BT, it's less scarier than JBAC's! I miss JBAC, I heard that we're not gona use JBAC alrdy or sth like that? I cannot imagine doing overnight camps at BT yishuN!! :O And I really wanna try camping at SJI!
Kelvin and Jeremy came over during Zephyr's and my shower time. Kelvin was complaining sth like we only appearing 30minutes after they arrived. Hello we were showering! :P Zep and I really had a ball of a time at our last activity. (Think of a dirty gross pond with FISHES) Zephyr and I were playing on the surfboard and Charles took snapshots and a video of us! Here's the excerpt from my facebook:

Scenario- Carissa attempts to stand but Zephyr couldn't get up, so Zephyr got up first and Carissa attempted to stand... And Charles laughed at us!
And so we came tumbling down...
And I got my MAIDEN RIDE AS A PILLION RIDER ON KELVIN'S BIKEYYYYY!!!!! So, Sheila, I can understand your exhilaration about riding bikes now!
- Crashed Mojo's campfire a few days ago. Lately a lot of new instructors are doing camps. And all the experienced ones are either in school or army! :( I saw a vid Jeremy posted on facebook (older instructors were building houses for the newbies after the camp in SJI) AND I SAW MY SEC SCHOOL CLASSMATE!! Whoa, Wei Qiang in HA?! I wanna do camps too! :(
Okay, I have lost interest in blogging as of now that is. I wanna get my photos from photographers! :D
I am not used to my laptop now!! I reformatted it and everything's new now, but I still have updates that I can't update (I don't know why) and my windows live mail is so irritating! Should I shift to gmail? I can't open my emails and I am not used to my new messenger! Even with the PLUS, I still can't see COLOURS!! Why ah? Compatibility issues?! FUJITSU HELP!!!!!!! :S
And I forgot how to load my fingerprint :X Need to clean my green nailpolish off.

*Apparently if you're wondering why my title's "Publicity for Zontanos", blame Liwei, he was flashing our Zontanos logo on and off before Nelgin's holy matrimony, so technically, everyone in the congregation then caught it if they were paying attention to the screen. Rah, and I missed it! :( ** And apparently, I rushed off for tuition after that in the afternoon, and found out Hannah actually knew Nelson and Gina, and many others from my church as well including Brandon and Elaine! And Andrew Cheng's her nephew!!! *** Hmm, I wonder if there's any more wedding bells ringing!! :P
