Christmas; one of my favourite holidays!

Time to shift Esmond's link from "elsewhere" to "CHS"! :P
Yep, I haven't been blogging, blame my laziness.
Facebook is really exciting! I get really anxious for my friends to load photos so I can tag myself and my friends in them haha!! My weekend was a blast! Spent with my wonderful churchmates! But I miss my best friend :(
I haven't done my cards, yet again.
I am in the midst of reading Brisingr!
And I am searching lyrics of songs to add to Estelle!! :O -
Family camp was not bad at all, considering I never did any planning.
Rather, I did some planning but wasn't able to execute anything at all! :S
I played mahjong instead! Many thanks to dearest Ernest and Gabriel W., who stayed over the first night and had to endure the wrath of my rowdy (girl) cousins!
To Hanrong and Neng, who crashed the last night, and also ensured I got home safe and sound! :D We didn't visit OCH in the end, neither did we get to Ubin, but we clamboured over fences and slopes and walked down a drain to get to our very own private beach!
And what's more, someone had alrdy slung a rope down the tree which we could use as a swing!
The kids and I had a nice time swinging into the water! Hidden right inside, FP Chalet 7 was really our very own private space, except for the times when other people came to recce our chalet.
And we also had many bedrooms on the second floor, nice toilets, a table tennis room (that is humongous and some of the youngies used it as their room), a huge kitchen with two stoves, two refrigerators etc., WE HAD TWO STAIRCASES! (as compared to chalet 12's one stairs), and our very own lawn and boardwalk and bbq pit!
I AM NOT KIDDING!! :O I tied my hammock between two pillars on the first night and slept there.
Ernest decided to be hero and didn't sleep at all! :S
After that I went upstairs cos my dad woke up alrdy, and when I got back down, I realised my hammock broke! :X
My horrible mischievious cousins had roughly used it as a swing (and I hadn't tied it properly for them to play) and now I have to find a time to replace it! And I went without my hammock for the rest of my chalet!
Slept on the sofa (which was really very comfy) the second night before getting to the bed when dad woke up, and on the bed the last night too! Anyway, I guess that's all for my chalet.
I thank God for that time spent with my family! -
Turnout for "The Reason for Christmas" was not bad at all! :D
Jeremy He, Rendall, Kelvin and Leisha came!
Rena was like: Good good, you brought a girl!
Hahaha, but I wasn't aware Leisha was coming, but I'm really glad she did! Watched Twilight after midnight!
I WANNA READ THE BOOK!!!!!!

I am anticipating Eldest the movie, PLEASE COME OUT SOON! Service the next day was good.
And of course I always enjoy my fellowship with my beloved people.
Fishermen's Wharves for lunch, and I got Ernest's present :D I. Am. Going. Shoe. Shopping. With. Daddy later and we're gona have a nice family dinner afterward! :) -

God's plans are always perfect!
 I can smile becos I know I have hope in Christ Jesus- the Risen Lord!
I thank God not only becos I am feeling better, but also for the company I had today (even though I wasn't really myself)
Ignore my earlier post, I am not gona die so soon, at least not during this weekend. The youth (actually it was supposedly my cell outing) went to the zoo! :D
I'm feeling slightly better so I'll blog my usual style :S
Met Chinyi and the guys at amk, Daniel was later than us! :O
Then on the way, Chari, Ernest and Cass boarded the bus!
We met Gab and the rest (who took his car) at the zoo. Youth's outing to the zoo was different from the one I went with ______.
I was able to cover all the exhibits when I went there 2-3 months ago? I can't rmb when!
But this time, I was with such a hugeeee group we barely covered alot! :P
However, I really enjoyed the time spent there!
I got to see the elephant show la! And these female elephants are really strong and can spray water really far! (not that being strong has anything to do with spraying water far) Our zoo trip was cut short as we had a food tour after our visit! :(
We had already made Jeremy Pan wait for more than an hour! (But I really admire that guy, he still greeted us in smiles! WHICH IS WHY I LOVE WORKING WITH MY CO-BANDLEADER! Zontanos!! ♥♥♥)
Chari and Sus had to give up their rightful places for the foodtour as too many people turned up!
The attendance was really poorly planned, we only had 2 cars yet we had almost twenty people?! :S I was in the front seat with Jem, and I really really never regretted choosing to ride in his dad's altis!
Our first stop was actually at sbw park! We were supposed to follow Gab's car but he got lost! -.-
And led us all the way to Upper Bukit Timah Rd (yes that is like near np!) and we detoured, exiting at dairy farm (which could eventually still lead us to sbw), and getting lost again!
Then Gab's car decided to go east coast from there, to eat at the Red House seafood restaurant (I should have known better!!! :X)
East Coast was at the other side lor! So we travelled all the way on the expressway and found our way there (despite making a few detours ard Bedok) only to find out the restaurant was closed at that time!! And we still wasted time there not knowing that we were being fooled la, until someone finally managed to convince us to move our bums and get to the restaurant to "chope" seats!
So we called Gab (who was apparently still lost :S) to tell him to get to Katong Laksa and we'll just go there cos everyone else was famished! We got there and finished our laksas but Gab's car hadn't arrived yet!
The rest of us decided to grab some nyonya snacks (yes, inspired by the show) as desserts, while the rest ate.
Then we planned on getting to Joo Chiat near Tembling and Everitt for hokkien mee, it was pretty straight forward to get there from Katong (Note: I gave Gab clear instructions so he was able to find the place, and get there first cos he parked nearer, hehe) It was already 5pm -.- After that, we got to Aljunied (Geylang Rd) for beef noodles and bak chor mee!
And we decided to go to Tg Pagar for xlbs (wasnt on our list) Gab's car landed up at BB HQ while Jem's found our way there but there wasnt enough time to eat! -.-
So we met the rest at BB HQ and departed from there. But it was a nice joyride! :) Jem's driving is really good, I was so comfortable with his driving that I fell asleep after he picked his dad while sending us to srgn!
He's really a safe driver la, good job Jem, and it was really nice to let "loose" in your car! Bouncing to the music and singing at the top of our lungs, and waving our hands at a certain bus stop opposite Singpost, and also you sticking your arms out and waving them like a wild child!
His dad's poor altis was literally bouncing whenever we came to a traffic light cos everyone was dancing and jumping to either my ipod or Alissa's mp3! Thank you all for making my day so sweet and memorable!

One step at a time
.jpg) I need a vacation at the beach! :( Hokay, IS today was interesting.
We're learning about love relationships! :)
I was separated from my dearest Clare during the class, but it's okay cos I've made new friends, and also rekindled past friendships with acquaintances! Alumni with Zephyr and Dominic, and met Sheila.
Got Caramel Machiatto and Toffeenut from Starbucks!
Steamboat-ed w my family! :D Anyway I was just reading "A Tale of Three Kings" just now.
It's really good, and it's tough for me to talk about it here.
You all should read!! -
I was just think about some anger issues.
Haha don't get me wrong, I do not have an anger problem now :)
But something really puzzles me. It is really hard to control our anger, isn't it?!
Why can't we have more patience and love towards each other?
I personally feel that we should be thinking about WWJD before we blurt something out.
Becos sometimes the stuff you say or the things you do will hurt the other party.
And sometimes even physically! Which will make the person mentally disturbed too! I've been a victim in such cases, nono I am not talking about my past relationship with _______.
In fact, I'm talking about someone who's way more dear and closer to me than ________. I am indeed traumatised by the events of late.
And I really wish all these would just stop.
I really want my close circle of people to just love each other and bear with each other's grievances. You know the bible clearly states in Ephesians 4! 26 "In your anger DO NOT SIN". Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
27 and do not give the devil a foothold (NIV)
I know this is a really common verse but it really speaks the truth.
When you go to sleep angry, this anger churns out negative feelings inside you and it's not good for your spiritual being!
Also there's this saying in the bible, in Matthew, that if you are offering your gift to the altar, and you rmb that your brother has something against you, leave your gift behind and be reconciled with your brother first, and then come back and offer your gift! Mum just reminded me: Pray!
Prayer works wonders! Believe me! :)
Prayer realigns your thoughts with God and it will definitely bring you the peace that you really need!
Prayer is really vital in EVERYBODY'S LIVES! I am thankful for the people who practically scream out the word PRAY! to me whenever I feel frustrated and stuff. Thank you Jeremy He, Charissa, Chinyi, Sheila! Ephesians 4 also stated that-
(We should) 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Note that the bible didn't say "some"! It clearly states ALL.
Which means that you and I do not have the excuse for being angry at one another!
Afterall we are sinners, and only our Sovereign Lord can rightfully be angry!
And since our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross and forgave our sins, WHAT MORE DO WE HAVE TO DO WITH OUR FELLOW BROTHERS AND SISTERS?! Do we continue to hold grudges against them?
I do not think so! Also, more importantly, submit to your authorities!
Be it your parents, your teachers, your school authorities, the law, your pastors etc!
God put them there in your lives for a reason, and no matter how horrid/unfair you think they are to you, they mean it for your own good, and of course, through such trials then you'll be moulded into a better person!
Agree?! Just like the book I was reading earlier today "A tale of Three Kings"
King Saul was hunting down David.
King Saul was "mad".
But it was through these trials that David got moulded, to become one of the greatest kings on the earth!
There's a king Saul in everyone of us.
David was put through all these tough stuff to get rid of the king Saul in him!
Will you let hardship mould you, or will you just rebel just becos you don't like the discomfort?
It's your choice! :) -
On a happier note, I haven't done much stuff today! :X
But I certainly enjoyed myself, and of course my relationships with other people got strengthened!

Okay, you may be wondering what on earth happened to me!
Why never blog!!
Well, thing is, I've been incredibly busy!
Busy with what, you may ask!
Then I'd reply: Busy with anything except blogging!! Hahahaha. Well, put it bluntly, I was putting off blogging due to some issues, but I thank God for time off now to blog! :D
I've been busy with projects, FACEBOOK (aha YES FACEBOOK! That's incredibly addictive), school, more school, and I don't know what else! I really cannot believe it's December so soon!
It's gona be 1 whole year since my baptism! Heh, anyway.

Just some thought:Are you truly worshipping God, or are you merely worshipping worship?
Worship indeed takes you to a higher level of "HIGH", but are you just worshipping for the sake of enjoying that "high" feeling you get?
Or does your heart sincerely wanna worship God becos of who He is?! Brandon fired us (the YouthTCMers) a question: What are we doing here?
It really set me thinking.

Are you in church/serving just becos you want/need to fill a void, or are you there becos you wanna truly worship God and revere Him for who He is?! I've seen one case of this friend I have, who went to church and becos he couldn't "fill the void" he had, he left, and mind you, he was serving too!
I guess it's really sad when you don't see things working out in life and stuff. I've been through tough times too, and I daresay it's just the beginning of it all, the devil will try all ways to tear us down and tell us stuff that was untrue.
But ultimately you should know where you stand in God's kingdom! :)
Okay I was digressing. Back to the point. I think we christians should be careful, extremely careful, that we do not worship worship!
I've been to a church once, and I really didn't feel the HS moving, yet the people were jumping around and stuff.
And the band was just like a performance.
Don't get me wrong, the HS might have been there, I could have not been THAT sensitive to Him. And I do believe the HS was there becos soon later, there were many people's lives who were saved.
But I just didn't feel right during the praise and worship. I felt like I was at a performance, and I really couldn't worship God. Please do not put a stumbling block in your brother's path, becos you are sinning when you do something that will cause someone to be unable to worship God.
I, as a worship leader, have to be mindful of that too.
And in that way, I have to ensure that my relationship with God was upright and personal before I can do any leading.
Becos ultimately, you cannot bring people into a place where you've never been before!
And in any way you try to bluff your way through, the truth will be revealed sooner. Are you just worshipping for the sake of enjoying that "high" feeling you get?
Or does your heart sincerely wanna worship God becos of who He is?!

I really don't wanna wait that long till I drive.

This year's been pretty crazy, and I've learnt so much as well!
Relationships, schoolwork, trials and temptations, and not to mention being physically hurt by ______ as well.
My girlfriends have gotten attached (see Carmen, Clarene, Vanny etc etc), my churchies and I were talking about marriage just last night.
I do admit I feel abit weird, becos I was once in a relationship too!
But hey, right now, I just wanna serve God with my entire being, and I do trust that He will definitely provide the one, and that would be totally worth waiting for!
God never shortchanges His children! :) I wish I could go for a holiday, perhaps a week long vacation at one of my fave beach destinations!
Then I'll just lie on the sand and bask in the sun, soak up the rays and salt from the sea.
Wrap a dress around me and dine at the roadside stalls along the beach.

Anybody wanna go w me?! :X I was just watching a documentary on Animal Planet just now.
It was on Dinosaur Fossils, and actually, it was on a mummified dino.
It's very cool, and it leaves me in awe how powerful technology is now.
To re-enact what may have happened 67million years ago, and even tell you how the dinos really "walked" by calculations and the mass. I had a nice time relaxing at home just now in front of the teevee.
