The Ikea Way
Bff bff, wherefore art thou O bff?
Well yes, I went to Ikea today, with a few of my greatest guy friends ever! :)
I thoroughly enjoyed myself today, with you guys - Jem, Gab, YJ, Marcus Ng & Koh and Mel!!!
Meatballs plus daims at Ikea, and we headed down to The Grand Cathay for our movie - Angels and Demons!
Jem's joke of the day: What is between Angels and Demons?
Any sensible person will answer "humans".
But that was the wrong answer!! -.-
The right answer was actually "and"! :S
Talk about being silly, guys.
We didn't walk around Ikea as I thought, and we got caught in the jam towards town! But thank God for the fellowship! I really had fun talking to these bunch of godly friends. We had serious fun after the movie too!
B&Js for dessert (only J and G ate though) and then Burger King for dinner -.-
Got tons to complete during my 3 hour break tomorrow, will probably park myself at the library or ourspace. Company will be greatly appreciated. Just text me! :)
Please pray for me, fatigue's setting in again.
Back to the time management point. God please help me allocate time for my work as well as play properly, amen.
In case you're wondering, I miss my best friend a whole lot, I haven't seen her in a week!
But I certainly enjoyed my time with V&C today for lunch, no matter how short our meetings are, I really treasure them.
Like, even when I bump into them and can only stay and chat for a minute, I'm already extremely contented! I seem to have a whole lot to babble to them whenever I see them! :P
I cannot wait for our outing soon! :)

Okay, I've been busy with school, and hanging out with people from all walks of my life!
Can't say I enjoy every fellowship, but I thank God nonetheless for such a wide diversity of friends.
These friends made me realise how blessed I was. Not that it's anything bad about them or what.
Well, but I do get, you know, a little bit of disappointment sometimes :(
It's not easy to be in my final year of poly right now!
Project deadlines are looming ahead, and I daresay I haven't done my fair share of the load yet.
Hanrong is right, I really have to time manage well. Juggling school work with work and commitments IS possible if you time manage well!
And I am struggling, amidst everything.
But I am reminded that I have a God who is able to strengthen me!
Isaiah 41:9-10
I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you.
I said," You are my servant"; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
So do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
I know this verse is a familiar one to most of you, but it is indeed my source of comfort when I feel dejected and weary.
Praise God becos His mercies endure forever! :)
I don't really feel like blogging a whole lot but I thank God for the friends who have brought me to all these places (in the span of this month, as far as I can remember, in no particular order):
- SAF Yacht Club
- Sentosa (at least twice)
- LCK Cemetry
- Hay Dairies
- Bottle Tree Park Yishun
- Farmmart (for fish spa!!!) :D
- Flea market!
- Astons (at least twice)
- Kallang Ice skating Rink
- (ALMOST) Wild Wild Wet (It's okay, it was the thought that counted)
- (ALMOST) Escape Theme Park (Always always, I stress again, always remember to check opening hours before planning!!!!!)
- Tampines 1
- SK Swimming Complex
- Supper :D :D :D (yay!)
I am thankful for such blessings and opportunities to connect with those people!
And I am pretty excited cos I've got stuff lined up for the week too!
IKEA tomorrow! (really can't wait!)

Oh and did I mention I am thrilled to have Ernest in my school?
Thoroughly enjoyed the day I hung out with him, and at Island Creamery where we cld let our hair down and pig out on yummy icecream and waffles! ♥

Anyway PLAYMAX's dry run was last Saturday and it was really tiring!
I bumped into my exclassmate, Joe Wieky! Was so pleasantly surprised to see him there! Anyway it was kinda expected as he was an active member in SYFC (Singapore youths for Christ)
Met up with my gf Pris too! And bumped into a friend called Norvin! (HE ACTUALLY RECOGNISED ME FIRST! :O)
PLAYMAX is happening 12-13th June and it's gona be a blast!

Also, youth sunday's the second week of July! It's one day after my 19th birthday (everyone shout yippee)
WORSHIP NIGHT is happening on 29th MAY 2009! Next friday! Strongly encouraged to come!
