Wednesday, February 28, 2007 hokays! lemmi blog abt ytd first; shelly came over to meet me and watched me wash up, then we left for mrs margaret yong`s wake, ANYWAYS! mrs margaret yong is canossa convent`s exprincipal. she`s the most patient and BEST and nicest principal i`ve ever had! she passed away peacefully though (: REST IN PEACE MRS YONG! back to my day ytd, we met daphne at the bus stop at my house, then we were supposed to meet joyjoy niu and joan on the 62 bus, but due to some unforseen circumstances, we boarded the bus b4 the one joyjoy and the rest took, shelly gave directions as to where to alight and so we met they all at the bus stop, and angela frm SAC tagged along, so we reached and paid respects to mrs yong, and we sat down and talked alot, we met mrs yong`s only son and her three grandchildren, met some canossa teachers including UNCLE ANTHONY AND DESMOND GOH! the old IT guys! met mrs yong`s daughter-in-law`s brother, ADRIAN! he is a v funny guy! HE REFILLED OUR DRINKS AND PEANUTS LIKE MORE THAN FIVE TIMES? we hit off w him immendiately! halfway through, LK called niu -.- and geok ling called joycelyn? and GL came laaaaaaa! bleh, nvm, i stayed for the service ytd, (joan, niu, joyjoy, angela and daphne had alr left) they recited the rosary and stuff, then after that i had to leave, so shelly went w me, we left GL there alone and by that time, adrian and i alr became good friends -.- as in we can chat comfortably like long lost friends, (he`s in his thirties) and he asked me to come the next day, which was today, but i told him i cldnt, so i suggested him to send me to meet my cousin for haircut so i cld go to the wake again, so he agreed immediately alr! anyways, kenneth (mrs yong`s son) had asked me and shelly to come back the next day to keep mrs yong company, so there, shelly gave me a lift in her taxi, and i reached home, (: (: TODAY! i woke up rly early and got prepared and stuff, today its shelly`s turn to make me wait -.- xinhui cldnt make it due to some stomach discomfort ): so we went there, and we were the earliest, and we had a rly good chat w mrs yong`s companion (: and he told us alot about mrs yong battling cancer and how she remained positive and selfless and calm! i rly salute mrs yong, and i`m rly gona miss her, she has contributed alot of CCPS and i rly appreciated her for that, she always had encouragement to give to students no matter what! and that is why she will definitely be dearly missed by many! anyways kenneth came down and we chatted w him as well, THEN ADRIAN CAME! omg he was the one who asked me to come early but he was so late -.- but nvm. i guess its my fault again?!?! BLEH TO SHELLY AND ADRIAN! was spposed to meet jolene for lunch, but plans had to be changed due to SHELLY AND ADRIAN AGAIN! hymphh! so i had laksa at some jalan besah place w shelly and adrian! HIS TREAT! okay la. then he sent me down to meet JOL (: (: i wasnt late, and neither was jol (: (: so we met lisa and went into the exhibition hall w passes, and then, we met our hairstylist! HE IS DAMN COOL! i decided i liked him immediately! and so, i went to toilet while jol`s hair was scrutinised by our coolios hairstylist! then i came back, and he looked at mine, and since we had almost similar hair, and jol`s hair didnt need much cutting, they decided that i shd be the one to go on stage to cut my hair (: okay the smiley isnt spposed to be there, cos i was damn scared and nervous! so many people watching laaaa! jolene`s hair was cut by a lady off stage (: and mine was cut on stage in the booth, at first a lady blow dried my hair after spraying water -.- then it was my turn to get my hair cut, OMG SO MANY PEOPLE LAAAAAA! and some of them are like taking pictures and WORSE, FILMING MEEEEEEE! OMG LA! then mr stylist decided to embarrass me ): he said in front of the WHOLE CROWD THAT I WAS V PRETTY AND YOUNG! OMG I WAS SO EMBARRASSED, but thats not all! he explained to the crowd how he was going to cut my hair and stuff, then he offered a sweet to me in front of the whole crowd. so i stuck out my hand and picked one, the pink one! AND ITS A V NICE SWEEEEEEET! (: (: THANKYOU MR HAIRSTYLIST! (: (: then he cut my hair and stuff while explained to the crowd how to cut (: HE IS RLY GOOD! PROFESSIONAL (: (: but he kept singing my praises, making me embarrassed ): after cutting, he styled my hair, pinning stuff and curling the ends, and he asked if i permed my hair b4, and i replied no, then he said i`ll look even prettier w permed hair and stuff, BLEH! OMG HE KEPT SAYING I WAS PRETTY! he didnt even call the aunty b4 me pretty laaaa! after cutting, he helped me flick all the small hair that fell on my face down (cos i knw when he cut my fringe, alot of hair fell on my face) SO SWEET LA! cos i didnt have a big mirror infront of me, and a HUGE CROWD WAS WATCHING MY EVERY MOVE! OMG! after everything, he took a picture w me, and i asked lisa to send the pic to my email! (: (: BUT I AM UTTERLY PISSED W A GUY AT THE EXHIBITION! HE IS DAMN DAMN SICK! like chee ko pek like that ): he film all the girls having their haircuts by different hairstylists, and he wasnt even wearing a pass la! and he looks like a chee ko pek though, jol and i decided that he was sorta pervert ): and something happened that made me confirm that he was a perv, the seat i was sitting is mobile and can be swirled ard, to suit the hairstylist, so the hairstylist swirled me ard to show the back and side of my hairstyle, and while mr hairstylist showed the crowd my back view, that perv moved frm his position and continued filming my face on his hp, i`m rly rly scared he will post my video online or what! irritating! okay and so, i`m in a dilemma, i don`t knw if i shd continue to go to LK`s hse tmr, or go to mrs yong`s funeral tmr, cos my mum is gg tmr, and shelly and adrian asked me to go, but i wanna go LK`s hse as well ): bleh bleh how sad, i rly cant decide where i wanna go! Tuesday, February 27, 2007 omg i had the greatest time w my classmates ytd; and i realised my schedules are pretty fun for meeeee! monday(ytd); went to aunty jennifer`s and then met my classmates for dinner! tuesday(today); gg to mrs margaret yong`s wake )': wednesday; meeting jolene for jap haircut, thursday; gg to PP to help my mum do laundry then head to LK`s hse in pheng geck (: OMG I CAN`T WAIT TO GET MY JAP HAIRCUT AND GO TO LK`S HSE TO BAI NIAN (: LOL hokays; gona blog abt my day ytd; woke up, used the computer, blogged, chatted, pretend to do hsework be just folding one towel -.- then washed up and applied makeup then met aunty jennifer`s at raffles place (: i`ve come to a conclusion that i`ve only told jw, and that is that i don`t look good in colour make up, ytd`s makeup by aunty jennifer made me feel like a clown ): but my own make up looks good (: after all those stuff, i left at 7 to meet my friends at geylang okay to my classmates; the reason i was late was cos i was delayed almost an hour at the appt place, ahhhs its a long story ): i was pretty pissed that i had to wait so long and meet you all late ): hokays, so i was late in meeting them at geylang; they were eating along the stretch of geylang. LK told me they will meet me outside aljunied mrt, (at the field more specifically, made me walk ard the stn!) they had alrdy ate dim sum ): so they were moving on to tao hui, and wieky had alr left us ): so we went to eat tao hui, then walked to lorong 9 or sth to eat beef hor fun (: yummmm then we walked back to eat durian (: (: but i didnt eat -.- hahahah i chose not to eat cos i was full even though i didnt eat much that day ): doreen and xiuyi met us halfway to eat durian w usssss (: omg i had so much fun! okays; i was wearing high heels and miniskirt and sleeveless top what, then some of my girlfriends were worried for me, so when i walked, i made sure at least one guy is within an arms length to me, but i ended up walking at the back w weeqiang cos we were talking, and because LK didnt want to walk w me to my guess is cos i was almost as tall as him (: but he says, you walk close to me is cos you wanna see if you`re taller right? then he`ll just tsk tsk shake head and say, i can`t be bothered w you! -.- blehhhs whatever! so i walked w weeqiang la! he owes me a treat (: and i`m especially proud of junhao, i told him face to face ytd, cos he got a b3 for english! wheeeee (: and i helped him too! ahas (: good carissa! LOL after durian, we went to geylang east macs to sit down and talk talk, then we left at ten plus to walk to the bus stop, took 135 w joan, (: we took a shadow picture cos joan rly likes shadows! i rly hope joan organises another outing soon! Sunday, February 25, 2007 bahhhhhhhs; i just woke uppppp. and i`m feeling abit groggy, BUT MY HOUSE IS RLY CHILLY! it wasnt rly cold b4 i slept. hokays. today; OPEN SUNDAY. open sunday is getting boring ): but good jw brought the guitar! i like him; good jw! so we had music, but the kids refused to sing ): grrrrahhhhhhhhhh watched a viddddeo, and it was quite nice actually! hehhhs the guys played soccer or football as usual -.- and the girls just sat ard looking pretty -.- JODY DIDNT COME ): later, lunched at mcdonalds, and then left to meet jolene at city hall, then we went to suntec to meet the lady LISA, she was the one in charge of the japanese haircut thing (: then we went there, she explained abit to us and took picture of our hair (: and we actually needed PASSES to get into the exhibition hall! ): ): too bad it wasnt our names, okays, so jol and i will be gg to have our japanese haircut on wednesday, and no heidi, you cannot come and support us, cos apparently outside visitors arent allowed into the hall, if i am not wrong. oh wells, i`ll be gg to aunty jennifer`s tmr again (: and i`ll probably have to sit still for hours again ): ahhhhhhhs nvm, my nail polish is ruined literally, my 6 coats still cldnt prevent the stars frm peeling out two stars dropped out, and two stars are fading -.- don`t ask me why cos i dont knw! and the paint on both of my index fingers are alr coming off, oh wells, maybe aunty jennifer will give me a fresh coat of paint! ALMOST ALL THE HOLIDAYS W THEM! wheeeee, hokays, heidi`s stupid audition was sooooo long -.- so we didnt go out ): and she claimed she queued for 8hours! too bad girl, you shdnt have gone -.- beryl has grown, matured! she`s still v funny, but she glues herself to uncle bomb`s laptop too much! nelvin is v cute w his harry potter round glasses (: but he hates it -.- so sad ): jingjing (maltise) is uber cute and lazy as usual! she smells like dog, and her white hair drops on me when i stroke her -.- I MET ANDREW LEOW SS, and grrrrahhhh he lost so much weight! good boy, i`m proud of him he grew tanned (: reminded me of how tanned LK was, and thats a good thing, but the bad thing is; ANDREW IS STILL SHORT! i keep urging him to grow taller, btw he`s only 13 frm ai tong best class last year, was posted to cat high (reminds me of YOUJIN) but transferred to the singapore sports skl (sss) he stays in the hostel there cos his house is in bishan and its rly far, and his schedules very tight everyday, must train everyday, so poor thing, but i think he`s v strong one, so next time i see him, he shd be TDH (tall dark handsome) like LK -.- hahhahaha! Wednesday, February 21, 2007 okays, goody! i checked it out on the Istana`s official website, and i realised i took pictures w the two types of people who provide the ceremonial logistical support. hokays, here it is. the first grp is the Aides-de-Camp to the president and the second is the Ceremonial guards. this is wayyyyy cool la, Aides-de-Camp (ADCs) are personal aides of the president. The president has two full-time ADCs, i think the guy i met ytd was probably one of them, cos i only saw two guys in green uniform. There are also 60 honorary ADCs who help assist the full-time ones, so coolios la. for full details of what these ADCs do, please refer to here ->click (: The qualifications are = young men or women of good bearing, intelligence and commitment, and social skills are an impt asset, i feel like going to be one of them (: THIS IS WHAT I`VE BEEN LOOKING FOR; THE AIGUILLETTE * i have decided to remove this part as i may be breaking copyright laws, even though i credit the source, but here`s a summary nonethessless, ADCs can be identified by thick distinctive cords across the right shoulder called aiguillettes, and these aiguillettes are plaited cords! for more information, please refer to THE AIGUILLETTE from here ->click (: and so i`ve found out, that ADCs who are officers in SAF wear GOLD AIGUILLETTE while Police Officers wear silver ones! and this means that; the guy who brought the canossians and me and joyjoy ard is an ADC, and he`s frm the SAF! wow, i`m seriously v impressed, i suddenly have the urge to serve in the SAF, (: maybe work in MINDEF or sth? hahahah! omg i`m impressed la! and the other guy, at the gate, is a ceremonial guard! (: The Istana Ceremonial Guards' do sentry duty at the Istana Main Entrances, very good! *The average age of these Guards is 19! okays okays, people serving in NS, i`m so proud of you! now i feel like serving NS too! LOL; and tmr`s valentines day; i`m not expecting anything anyways, i wld probably be w my grandma (: and tmr`s the last day for JAE, i rly don`t knw if i shd apply JPSAE, gah, anyways, after sending grandma to see chinese doctor, i went to some centre. and my mum and sanyee and dajiu started talking w some guy from there, and i was rly rly rly rly rly extremely sleepy! i dozed off like so many times, cos they were taking so long, in biology terms, my blood glucose lvl was super low, plus i had a rly late night, so i went to buy ice cream to wake myself up, then i listened in the rest of the conversation (: and now i`m proclaiming that i`m gonna go on a raw food diet! i won`t eat so much meat alr, not gonna be a vegetarian lah! don`t worry people. okays so after this cny; i`m expected to lose 5KG! yays, i`ll probably take v long to lose 5kg, but nvm, slow and steady wins the race (: jin`s been saying i`m being random, but i havent been random, at least not deliberately! Sunday, February 11, 2007 okays, i`m feeling very emo today, i`ve been emo these days, ): results day; collected results and went to sit beside lk, he took my results slip and i cried rly badly, LK was like, you results can get you into jc what, you cry for what? actually i didnt personally feel that i did well, i kinda expected more, but oh wells, its alr over, in case you`re all wondering how much i got, msg me when i`m online, then i`ll tell, ahhs, i think i`m feeling rly emo and sad again, in church today, i cried twice, first was during worship, i was praying so hard, and i was reminded of how great my God was, so in a way, i was touched, so i cried, those tears just kept welling up, i left the sanctuary afterthat for class. once i sat down, i started crying again -.- that is so not good, will be going over to my paternal grandparents' for reunion dinner today, its the only day that my whole family can make it, w/o relatives going missing, was over for reunion buffet ytd at aloha changi, thanks to jw for helping me find bus routes, (: mama took special leave frm hospital to come for lunch w us, it pained me to see her in a wheelchair, she was so weak, and ytd was probably the only day that she took so many photographs w us w/o complaining. i heard xiaoyee say that "this is probably the day when mother took so many photographs" something like that, this is rly saddening, later at night, mama was sent back to hospital, and my aunts and uncles had this rly rly solemn meeting that we kids cldnt attend, so we cousins splitted into two grps, the primary skl grp and the secondary skl and above grp. we each took a bedroom, the younger ones played of course, and we older ones also had our own catching up to do, joelle reminded me of this cruel truth, this may be the last cny that we`ll be spending happily w mama. jiajiao cried cos her parents didnt tell her that it was so serious, i had to hug her many times to reassure her, being the eldest there (jolene went off) i shared w them my experience w jasper, and we rly talked alot. we`re all sad and worried at the same time, and i told them all to be strong, and prepared for the worst, ahhs i`m getting emo again, meanwhile, heres a testimonial jin left me, keeping my hopes up temporarily;
