I've been busy as a bee lately, been gng through a tough time in school with project deadlines and presentations. I had a mock presentation yesterday evening, and a marketing presentation this evening. I must say that I've been pretty overworked and all. But thank God for sustaining me nonetheless. Jamming was cancelled last night :( But it was a blessing in disguise as I could stay home and rest and complete my presentation slides for this evening. Becos during jamming days, I'll be so worn out by the time I reach home and I'll end up staying online for a few more hours before heading to bed :S But please, continue to keep me in your prayers as final year in poly isn't as easy as it seems right now. My goodness! These two boys are absolutely hilarious! This is what happens when your fever gets too high and you don't get proper fellowship in church and you're almost crazy staying home!

Rev M was really funny when he reacted to someone's phone ringing during his sermon! that's quite funny man. that's why we all like him so much. he won't be like "please turn off ur handphones now". but he'll come up with something like that. (insert a smiley face) Anyway, today's youth service praise and adoration was really good, could sense God's presence. Only wished Glow lingered more during free worship. Sermon was slightly different this time, Ps G screened a sermon video about "WARNING SIGNS"! We'll be discussing more about it during cell group next week. However, here are the pointers from the sermon, how will God use to warn us before we go into destruction:

Hahaha, no no not literally, Alissa just came home from a full day of playing netball (and she got really burnt), and she was really worried that she smelt lol! I love kidding with her that she's super duper smelly! Time for her hot shower man!
Don't try to take advantage to slap her becos of her sun burn ah!!! Hahahaa! Met uncle B for a little while to catch up some more. Bings is such a blessing. I still can't believe he's back! :O I am really touched that this bro cared so much for me to want to pick me up when he heard that I was feeling really sick! :) We went to east coast in the evening and caught some really talented kite flyers! The sea was also very choppy too. People fishing and dog walking. Breeze was warm and nice, so Singapore. ahh I am now nursing a really deep "hole" on my right index finger, apparently the whole patch of skin peeled at the joints and its totally RAW :S Anyway was supposed to meet J at Suntec but he was really lateeeeee and I was having a splitting headache. Jovan gave me such a scare! Apparently BFF and her BF was just inches away from me when I walked past the fountain at Topshop. So I ended up dinnering with them at Bakerzin. J came, but left shortly after with Leisha and Jieyi............................. :S Sooooooo I went home on the bus and suffered with the crowd, but thank God I am feeling much better now. However, not all is fine and dandy for all of us. Two of my best churchmates are running high fevers, I am injured, I got ps-ed so many times and being 19 is so strange. Sooooo long!
Been so busy with projects and meet ups that I haven't got time to bloggg! haha, I loaded really old sports camp photos on facebook! :) Met Eunice, my sec school best friend on Weds, she prepared a present for me too! :) So we exchanged gifts and went to Waruku @ Marina Square to have our pasta for dinner! Later we walked around shopping and hunting for some stuff. It was great catch-up time spent with her! She's leaving tomorrow for Australia to study in Murdoch University! I'm really glad Nis got into a course she wanted! Knowing Eunice, she'll be able to focus and score well in uni! Do your parents proud, sweetheart! :) Went to work on Thurs and it was really tiring, because there were so many customers! It's like surges of customers come at one time, and after I've served them, another group comes, literally scooping till my hands hurt :S Later on, after work, JerHe and I went to Far East to get our hair cut, and I must say that he looks really really nice and boyish cute now :) And my hair is much shorter now! Aunty Irene is such a great hairstylist! She knows areas to avoid for me and all! Jer treated me 2/3 of our bill at Din Tai Fung! (nah nah I give you credit leh) XLB, with dan dan mian. Met Bings a little while at tpy! I can barely believe he is back la!! He greeted me with the UK (?) greeting. I really cannot take in that he is really back! Now I'll have endless nagging from him -.- I'm making full use of my additional 200 minutes free for outgoing calls this month, I've got a total of 300 minutes outgoing free! :O And I only used 50 plus minutes out of my 100 minutes last month, becos I didn't know how to check my phone counter lol! I also unknowingly sent a message overseas last month, and an MMS which I don't know whom I sent it too! LOL, and that's because I don't know how to use my phone! hahahah! So yesterday, I went to school late, because I was finishing up my introduction for a project. I ended really early and met Pris for lunch and shopping! Lunch at Far East, Pontian Wanton Mee, was really good because we had good food and FELLOWSHIP! Great time of sharing and praying with each other. I am so glad Pris is now so connected and I pray that nothing will stumble her at all, as she grows and matures deeper and stronger with God! Breakthroughs, come what may! :) We walked around Far East but didn't find anything we liked, so we moved on to Wismaaaaa where I got very tempted by Bakerzin. We walked around the designer label boutiques and found some stuff that's really a good deal, but we didn't really have the need for it lol. So we succumbed to indulging in NY Cheesecake and Mango (what is that called?) drink! More sharing there! :P Anyway Bakerzin's having a promotion too! Their cheesecakes have a 50% plus another 10% discount!! Their macarons are $0.90 too! Don't ask me why is there such a large discount, I really wanna know why too! ♥♥♥ Bakerzin! Met BFF at Dhoby and walked around PS a while, took a polaroid and went home for dinner. Through these two experiences, I really understood the importance of fellowship. To edify and encourage each other is absolutely vital for our walk to be strengthened. Also, our foundation with Him should not be subjected to the activities we do but by our intimacy with Him. I am really thankful for christians around me. We gotta be the light shining in the darkness! :) YJ Hahha nonsenseee! My phone's usually on loud when I am asleep! :) Anyway my four phone alarms usually don't fail :P I wanan iceskate! You? First of all, welcome back to Singapore, Shao Bin! Sunday was Confirmation Service day! We had a few of our youths getting confirmed, and I am really proud of them for taking the step of faith to be committed to a church. The youths had our praise and adoration in the 3rd floor jamming road, we weren't really playing together for our first two songs but I am glad God was merciful. He came to visit us and I could really sense a change in the atmosphere as we transited to slow songs and free worship. Thank You God! :) Cell meeting was a good time of sharing, I felt no bars preventing me from pouring my heart out to my cell mates, it was a good discussion and I am so thankful cell meeting was so informal that day. There was literally no stress felt at all! :O Well, I attended overnight prayer and Ps G impacted me with something, only my best friend JerHe and Ernest knows about what it is, and I could sense the challenges ahead on Sunday, it literally started that very night! I am really in awe with what God has in store for me, if He feels that I am ready, then bring it on, I will willingly take up the responsibility with the faith that He will see me through no matter what. Dinner was at Kovan's Xin Wang HK Cafe with the youths after soccer, and Bena sent Alissa and I home later. Wasn't in the right state to finish up my report so left it halfway done, and after talking to some people, went to sleep at 3am. Woke up the next morning (yesterday), rushed to school, finished up my report in a zombied state, went for SQM presentation, I felt so unprepared :( But it's okay, I think we've done well for our FG discussion. Lecture ended late so I met Jerhe in NP and headed down to Island @ Serene to meet Alissa, Ernest and Daniel. JerHe crashed jamming yesterday. For some reasons I felt extremely tensed and uneasy about the atmosphere and was not able to perform my best, it's quite depressing to be unable to sing, especially if you eat chilli-ed hokkien mee for dinner and/or if you slept very late the night before. So I was struggling so badly, but God convicted me and lifted me from my burdens. He is faithful. He is the Risen Lord. So I will live to praise Him alone. I do admit I don't have good time management skills, reached home really late after supper and continued with my work. My flesh was crying out for me to go to bed but my mind was rejecting the thought, willing me to do my work. But I decided to rest early so I woke up ultra early to complete my share! (THANK YOU YJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJ!) Went to school, attended lectures and tutorials diligently, also had a power nap of 45minutes in the library, then met Yide at Taka for dinner at Crystal Jade and movie at the Cathay Picturehouse. We watched 50 dead men walking, the torture part was awful but the show was quite a thriller. I can hardly believe that it could be real! Went home immediately after that and Joel Chong called me saying he was in the same theatre as me! LOL. Okay, yeah I know today's post is still as shoddy and you might not be interested in hearing about my daily musing. Will blog about something interesting soon! Bings Welcome back! 10:14:00 PM

This poem is so cute: Some people like sunday, Thank you Zhimin for telling me that online! Heh really appreciate it! :) And so I didn't go to school on Friday, met YJ for IceAge3 at Cine. It was really really cute! After my movie, Steph met me and we walked around a bit. Sheila joined us shortly. YJ left us to go to church, and three of us walked towards the other end of Orchard Road to meet our 2/5! Halfway through the walk, I received a call from my GF/BF Samuel Chao! He was actually waiting at the traffic light to cross the road too! Walked and talked with him a little bit before he left for his lil bro's birthday dinner! :P How exciting it is to meet the people you know on the streets! :D Dinner @ Modesto's! The 5 of us shared 3 pizzas! Really good food and nice time of fellowship with my best girlfriends - Sheila, Steph, Pris and Cheryl! :) And 5 girls tried to finish the entire oreo cheesecake! HAHAHA! It was a wrong wrong move to make because we were all extremely full from dinner already! Thankfully, Evynn came and helped eat a little cheesecake! :) And thank God for Evynn! Because his presence granted us a discount of 20%, even though he wasn't present during our dinner! The waiter was so gracious to grant us that discount la! From $110 to $71! It's a whole lot of money saved for us! Hurried around the shops a little bit and I bought a dress from Hula and Co with BFF! I also bumped into Xiuyi my sec school classmate! Steph was already complaining so I left earlier with her. Had to protect my helium balloon from the prying eyes of strangers too :P Went to church, was late for overnight prayer but didn't miss too much! :) Stayed throughout the whole event of 3 sessions! I am soooooo glad I made the right choice in participating for overnight prayer! :) Also, the very first people who wished me a happy blessed birthday: Brandon, Melvin, YJ, Daniel, Rev Mich and Ps G! Everyone should be encouraged to go for overnight prayer la! :) It's a wholly different experience from what you usually do, really! I really enjoy being with my church family, praying and interceeding for each other, encouraging and edifying each other with testimony! I love it! Just like what Rev Mich and some others said: What a good way to spend the first few hours of your 19th year! With GOD! :) I started getting my first few birthday wishes via text messages! And I am really glad my bro Ernest was the first! :) Thank you, for your wishes through text messages: (Hahaha can go and buy 4D/Toto!) Crashed Sheila and Jo's praise team and helped with a bit of band dynamics. Then went over to Parkway to meet mum, ended up napping at the gym as I was super tired out. Dinnered at swensens with my family w/o dad and had firehouse happy birthday on the house! :) Pardon my slipshot post tonight, I've gotta get up early and prepare to serve tomorrow too! :) Bings Thank you UNCLE bings! Heh, ever since I cut my hair, I've been loving it! I don't have to worry about the weather being hot and tying it up hehe! :) Yeah, I said I'd blog after my birthday but I didn't go to school today so a short post will suffice before I get really busy! ahah! I took the longest route to get to gwc yesterday! haha! All the way to NP and then to gwc and it cost me soooooooo much :S JeremyHe came down to gwc to tell me some stuff but I am really glad he is positive and happy after some icecream! :) and my counselling too! hehee! Jeremy, don't ever think lowly of yourself or feel unworthy k? You are not, you're a great brudder to me and a great partner to be with to! And God made you special! Stuff happens, but you have to remember ultimately who's in control! :) Press on! Dinner with Eunice was cancelled as she had to settle some important stuff, so I shall meet her on Weds and I cannot wait! :) Collected my pay at serene and stayed there a little with Ping Siew and Cris! I miss the serene atmosphere! It's so much more vibrant as compared to at gwc. Thinking of changing my fixed shift to Serene centre. What do you all think? :) Bought a tub of icecream for my cousins and rushed down to my uncle's place to help with her new laptop. Dinner with my and my uncle's family at tg rhu market and then went home as daddy needed to rest. Am gng out with YJ in a bit! I cannot wait to watch a movie! And I'm supposed to meet my girlfriends for dinner AND I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT'S IN STORE FOR ME? Vanny hehe yeah and I want to see you blog more often if you can too! :) Can we meet pleaseeee? Hahah, why did I choose Glow as my picture of the day today? I don't know. Perhaps it's because I've been in contact with him most for the past weekend (we were both backups for YS), and he's been complaining that I always bully him. Ah well, I am glad for this brother here, he is really funny and witty at times, and thanks for giving me the quiet and space when I need it and the prayer! Love you phileo! :) - But I am glad I did. How do you convince yourself to get out of bed? Remind yourself to crucify your flesh. Pats on the back, good job girl! :P Now here comes the later part (and I am not proud of it) Watching TWO movies...
Odd Girl Out was more of a mean chick flick, but it also taught me, or rather reminded me that when you suffer, your loved ones suffer alongside with you too. Stardust was a refreshing fantasy! Quite nice and sweet to watch, reminded me or Narnia and all. Loved how the ending went! Yeaaaah, I watched TWO movies alone in school, so poor thing. Went home and got ready to go out for a concert - SYF Closing Ceremony for Concert Bands. Ended up dinnering at Subway (I haven't had that in MONTHS ever since makan place was opened and the whole place reeked of Subway) and shopped around Marina Sq. And we really did! We met Mr Quek B.H. and Mr Teow G.S. who were my primary school band conductor/instructor! And we also met SACSS' band conductor Mr De Hamel! Went home on the crowded 100 bus, no need to elaborate much on the smelly ride home :( Jeremy Goh is hilarious. Here's a snippet of my convo with him just now:

Ahh I really don't know how to express myself properly now. I feel so lost and lonely sometimes. I really don't like the month of July, it's depressing. My best gfriends seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth (or my life) I didn't dinner with my family today in the end becos I went off after school and it was out of the way for dad to pick me up. Before that it was just the drilling and hammering noises coming from the kitchen as they were renovating my lift. Now it's teevee plus added human noise. Besides my girlfriends, the rest of my good friends are... guys. Now it's not as if I can't talk with guys or what, I'm just intimidated by everything. I feel the immense pressure each time I ___________, especially since they are all _____, it stresses me out, moreover, now with the added _______, who's also a ______, I really don't know how long I can pull through. God, only You will understand what I'm going through. So help me Lord. - I also met Rasmus and Rastus today after tutorial! They are soooo friendly, as usual. Ministry was good too. The Lord was definitely moving in our church this morning. Fluctuating mood swings, really bad cramping, sadness, tears. Pray, for healing and renewed touch from Him. And afterwhich we went to Sentosa as planned, but it rained! lol Overall, YS and Fellowship was great today. GOOD JOB EVERYONE! Finished up my surveys at Suntec today. Results were slightly better, thank God. Had Mexican Grill for the very first time for dinner today. It was really filling! With a thankful heart...
Happiness is defined as a state of mind, or feeling such as contentment, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy. I am definitely thankful the major stress is over as for now. It was really hectic last night as we rushed through the tidying of our project, last minute vetting and including of our executive summary. Well done, guys. Jeremy(s) are really God-sent today. Jeremy He was soooo gracious to pick me up from home this morning, sent me to school, waited while I bound my project and submitted it. We brunched and bumped into people like Zephyr, Nick Lim and Jeremy Lee at the science blocks. Zephyr and I even met Jer He's girlfriend! :) Jeremy Tang was soooo gracious to wait for me while I made my way from school down to office to pass his my hospital receipt HAHA! "Papa" also treated me tea at Suntec! Coffeebean hazelnut iceblend + Raspberry Cheesecake! Talks with him until he sent me off to the Shaw bus stop at beach road. Overall I feel very very fatty, I wasn't hungry in the morning but made myself eat jap food to entertain Jer :) And later I had teaaabreak which consisted of more and more carbo! lol And then I went home to recouperate! Ahh okay yes, this is a crazy period for me, preparing for my two major deadlines tomorrow. Just that split second of worry can cause me so much stress! Really, take things easy girl, you've got great project mates. You're tired but you are riding on God's strength. It's like tiredness just seeps in, and then auto-mode transfers from your own strength to God's strength. Eyes are crying for sleep yet brain is pumping for more. Uncle B is coming back to Singapore, really cannot wait to see him back here. It's been so long since I last held a decent chat with him. Uncle B's been pretty busy too. But I'm glad he's coming back, and thank God for his results too (I don't know what your results are but I know they are good! And this is to tell you you have to share w me the good news about your results! lol) Aiya I shall not rattle on about my mood and work anymore. Does anyone get a pop up whenever you try to tag a cbox? I get that all the time and it is so irritating! :( How to get rid of that ah? I can barely believe it's July so soon! I haven't even planned anything for my 19th birthday yet! :O Projects been drowning me, but I look forward to after deadlines! :) Jedi Hhaha I think perhaps Singnet is doing some maintenance right now? let's hope our internet speeed recovers soon! Also for some reasons my links don't work. Sometimes I click links a few times and they don't seem to be navigating to that page at all. And the auto save feature for blogger keeps telling me they can't connect to blogger.com -.- I've completed SQM Project 1 today, was supposed to finish up CRM too, but I was quite confused haha! But all is solved and I will complete it tomorrow, either first thing in the morning or at gwc. I didn't go to school today, classes were cancelled. So I stayed home and completed my project. Don't know why I still feel so tired, but aiya, tomorrow will be a better day :) Bings yay and I cannot wait for you to bring me to BL! What time are you coming back?
