an excerpt from a conversation with a brother-

`MeLvIn says (11:40 PM):

Carissa-Ann (11:40 PM):

`MeLvIn says (11:41 PM):
i'll feel...
sadd
haha
Carissa-Ann says (11:41 PM):
if that person is a really trusted friend whom you consider close?
`MeLvIn says (11:41 PM):
=((
yeah quite sad

I checked up some stuff earlier on tonight and to my horror, I found out that that girlfriend of mine had lied to me and pretended to be sympathetic. This made me really flabbergasted how I could have been blinded by our closeness before. How saddening this is, I am definitely more wary of her now, and I will not succumb to her nonsense, nor tolerate her behaviours. I don't approve of her anymore and we shall become distant. And if she ever tried stirring up feelings of closeness ever again, I will just outrightedly reject that proposal & move on. This shall not taint me.

Fellowship today, on the other hand, was smashingly refreshing!! POINT COMM PEOPLE, look here! I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE SPENT WITH YOU GUYS!! :) plus our guests too of course. I am soooo glad we finally had a day off, from the madness and mundane of school work & cycles.

I'm so glad we were able to bond further, through activities like impromptu games (good job roy!) & kite flying! Kudos to the people who brought kites! (includg me!) hehe. Neways a few of our kites flew away, I vividly remember Eleanor's kite getting tangled with Roy's big magnificent. &then SNAP, both flew off. I took pleasure in seeing the kites fly away freely, before reality struck me. Go grab them! Immediately Brandon, being the cool daddy, leapt into action, surveying where the kite landed and running down to retrieve the kite for his baby girl. It kinda brought me back a few years when my own daddy actually chased after my popeye kite (yes the very one you guys flew this afternoon) after it broke off at east coast (he broke it anyway). With Roy hot at my heels, we dashed down to the place where I last saw his kite land. I couldn't help wondering how the people at the bus stop & the marina barrage entrance must have felt when they saw the big kite flowing with the breeze, FREE from bondage. lol! Some lady told us, while we were still running, that another man was holding on to our kite (trying to roll it neatly). I dashed across the street & was elated to see the kite still in tact! :) Roy commented I was like a mad girl, dangerously running across the road HAHA! (of course I reassured him I NEVER got knocked down before)

My own popeye kite got tangled with others a few times too! :) Thank God for YJ, who was very meticulous in untangling the knots, couldn't say the same for the human entanglement game though! :P heheh! Am grateful my mum decided to upgrade my kite string to the green nylon kinds, which proved to be very sturdy when flying! :) I guess everyone did enjoy themselves this afternoon, I got a reddy tan with a white bangle-like spot where I stupidly left my bangle on. Great! HAHA!

Dinnered @ Millenia Walk's food court & my iphone died. I was so upset I cried. I am also eating icecream right now, which is very worrying even though the icecream is 98% fat-free yoghurt.

Oh well, wake up from the dreamland & get ready for schoolworld tomorrow :)
Wan An!
